Outpost Camp, known to us as Base Camp, is the simple luxury of 3 pine cabins with bunks, a cookhouse, a compost toilet, corrals for horses and tack room/hay storage, and a storage cabin.  Tucked into the edge of the Niagara Escarpment and under the cedars, the camp is completely hidden from view.  The rocky shorelines of Georgian Bay are a short stroll away with immediate access to the Bruce Trail hiking system.  Just in behind the camp, is a seasonal waterfall that flows into a unique fen at the footsteps of the cookhouse.  There is no electricity here, cell phone seldom work and lighting is by lantern and candles. In the evenings enjoy campfire camaraderie. Eco before it became trendy; the beds do have mattresses as you snuggle under organic flannel sheets and sleeping bags. Meals are served on white plates and the cuisine has a more natural flair but is prepared by the kitchen of E’Terra.  We have canoes & kayaks for you to use and we guide you to the nooks and crannies that we have discover along the way.
